For a man to ejaculate, a reflex is sent from the brain to the sympathetic nerves. The body uses serotonin to pass messages between nerves. Priligy works by increasing the activity of serotonin in the nervous system. It selectively hinders the reuptake of serotonin.
This process stops the ejaculation expulsion reflex from reaching the brain too fast. Consequently, there is control during sex, leading to ejaculation lasting longer.
