Skin Peels

As we age, our skin cells become dormant and cellular regeneration slows down, leaving dull, damaged, dead skin cells on the surface.

From our mid-20s, collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid, and other structural elements vital for skin health start to decrease. This, along with increasing layers of dead skin and micro-pigmentation, causes unevenly toned skin with an irregular texture and enlarged pores.

Many people will turn to make-up, moisturisers, and other beauty products to conceal these signs of ageing. However, they can not reverse them and may even accelerate the process.

Our clinicians at Evermore have completed their training on Harley Street, London. This ensures that we can provide the best service possible to all our patients. Through a mutual passion to enable patients to achieve their ultimate skin goals, we decided to use the Peel To Reveal treatment as our primary skin peel in the clinic. The cosmetic doctors from Harley Street formulated this in-clinic skin peel using their medical expertise in order to give the ultimate skin peel for any skin type.

Peel to Reveal is referred to as a ‘Modern Fusion Skin Peel. This means that multiple agents, ranging from superficial to medium strength (such as Glycolic, Lactic, Salicylic Acids and TCA), treat more than a dozen skin issues at once.

By combining these with many other performance-boosting ingredients, such as glutathione, which is a naturally produced powerful antioxidant by the liver, Peel to Reveal is up there with the quickest skin rejuvenation treatment for any skin type with as few side effects possible.

Treatment areas:

– General Skin Dullness & Ageing (mid 20s onward)
– Pigmentation Melasma Uneven Tone and Texture
– Sun Damages Skin Fine Lines and Wrinkles | Acne
– Enlarged Pores | Whiteheads | Blackheads

Consultation:

During your consultation, we will discuss how the treatment works and what each stage of the peel does. We can always adjust the duration the peel is left on for and which specific steps are used. This depends on each patient, so we will optimise it to you at this stage.

Receiving the Skin Peel:

Your face will be cleansed at first, and then the clinician will apply the peel in three stages. The treatment from consultation to completion only takes 10-15 minutes.

After treatment:

Immediately after: Your face may feel slightly tingly with mild redness for a few hours after treatment. We will apply SPF to your face following the treatment. Nevertheless, we recommend maintaining this for the week after to avoid any sensitivity to the sun.

3-5 days: Peeling/ flaking of old dull dead skin usually starts about day 3-4 and lasting only a few days. This will vary from patient to patient, with some experiencing no peeling and others a good cleanup.

7-10 days: Your skin may be slightly drier than before, as the new fresh skin is coming to the surface, but you should now notice that you have a brighter, clearer more radiant appearance, which will only continue to get better from here.

1 month onwards: From this point, you would be able to have a repeat treatment. However, this can be discussed at a follow-up appointment to adjust and create a treatment plan that works for you and your skin.
