Since 1st February 2025, the Saudi Arabian government has required all travellers, including Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, to present a valid certificate of vaccination against meningitis. This applies to everyone over the age of two and is mandatory for visa applications.
At Evermore in Chester, we provide the Meningitis ACWY vaccine together with the certificate you need for your pilgrimage. Our pharmacist will also talk you through any other vaccinations recommended for travel to Saudi Arabia.

When you travel to certain countries, you may be exposed to pathogens your body has no protection against. This can lead to serious, and in some cases life threatening, infections such as Hepatitis A, Typhoid or Yellow Fever.
By getting vaccinated before you travel, your body develops immunity against these diseases, giving you the protection you need to stay safe abroad.
Travel vaccines introduce a solution that mimics the invading pathogen. This stimulates your immune system to produce antibodies designed to fight off that specific infection. If you are later exposed to the real bacteria or virus, your body is ready to neutralise it before it causes harm.
Ideally, you should be vaccinated at least 21 days before departure, and earlier for vaccines such as Rabies that need multiple doses. This gives your body time to build full protection.
Our pharmacist is fully trained to administer travel vaccinations and prescribe antimalarial medication. Every appointment starts with a travel health consultation covering your destination, itinerary, medical history and previous vaccinations, so you leave with clear, up to date advice and the protection you need.
Use the vaccine checker at the top of this page for an initial recommendation, then book your consultation to confirm exactly what you need.
Clear, upfront pricing with no hidden fees. Your travel health consultation is £10. All vaccine prices below are per dose. Some vaccines need a course of two or three doses, and our pharmacist will confirm exactly what you need and the total cost during your consultation.
