Rozex 0.75% Gel contains the active ingredient of metronidazole. The gel is mainly purposed for treating the Rosacea condition. Due to its potency, it is categorised as prescription-only medicine. Rosacea is a chronic disease caused by inflammation. Rosacea normally occurs on the cheeks, nose, forehead, chin, and eyelids. It can cause acne-like outbreaks or redness in the affected areas of the face. Rozex Gel treats the skin infection hence reducing inflammation and redness. Metronidazole is used for treating infections brought about by bacteria and other microorganisms known as protozoa. It kills them by destroying their DNA.

Rozex gel is a treatment for inflammatory skin conditions. It is a topical product that is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, and can also be used to treat acne vulgaris, the most common form of acne.

How Does Rozex 0.75 Gel Work?

Rozex 0.75% Gel is a topical medication. It belongs to a class of medications called retinoids, which are derivatives of vitamin A. ROZEX helps to treat fungal infections by blocking the production of ergosterol, which is an essential component of the cell wall of fungi. Without ergosterol, the cells of the fungus die, which helps to clear up the infection. Rozex also has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, which can help to reduce any inflammation or swelling around the area of infection and kill any bacteria that may be present. ROZEX0.75% Gel is available over the counter without a prescription.

Warnings

There are some precautions that you should be aware of before using ROZEX GEL O.75. Below are some safety guidelines to follow:

  • Do not use more than the recommended amount of gel.
  • Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without approval from your doctor.
  • Do not use ROZEX GEL O.75 if you are allergic to metronidazole or any of the other ingredients in the product.
  • Avoid getting the gel in your eyes, mouth, or nose. If it does come into contact with these areas, rinse them thoroughly with water.

Directions

  • Always follow the instructions provided by your doctor or read the instructions provided on the package label.
  • ROZEX 0.75% gel is available as a cream or ointment in a 60g tube. It is usually applied two times per day, but your doctor may recommend different treatment schedules depending on your case.
  • Wash the affected area with mild soap and water before applying Rozex Gel.
  • Apply a thin layer of the Gel to the affected area twice daily preferably in the morning and evening.
  • Massage gently into the skin until fully absorbed.
  • If you forget to use Rozex Gel, just apply it when you remember.

Ingredients

  • Rozex gel contains the active ingredient metronidazole.
  • The inactive ingredients in ROZEX Gel are carbomer 940, disodium edetate, ethyl alcohol (95%), glycerin, methylparaben, propylene glycol, purified water and sodium hydroxide.
