How Does Kliovance Work?

Kliovance tablets are prescribed to women who are going through menopause to treat the symptoms that come with it. Kliovance is a combination of two medications: estradiol, which is a type of estrogen, and norethisterone, which is a type of progestin. These two medications work together to replace the hormones that your body stops making after menopause. This can help to relieve the symptoms of menopause.

Warnings

  • Do not take the tablets if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without the approval of your doctor.

  • Do not take the tablet if you are allergic to the ingredients it contains.
  • Do not take if you are taking any other medications, including over the counter medications and supplements without informing your doctor.

Directions

  • Always take the tablets as directed by your doctor to get the most benefit from the treatment.
  • Swallow one tablet whole with water once daily.
  • You can take the tablets without food, however, if you experience stomach upset, ensure you have a meal before swallowing the tablet.
  • The dose can be taken at any time of day, but it is best to take it at the same time each day to maintain consistency.
  • Once you finish one pack, begin the other immediately without taking breaks.
  • If you miss a dose, you can take it as soon as you remember, unless it is close to the time for your next dose, in which case you should just skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule.
  • If you would like to stop using the tablet, ensure you discuss it with your doctor first so that he/she can advise on the correct method of stopping the treatment.

  • The inactive ingredients are maize starch, triacetin, copovidone, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, talc, Lactose monohydrate.
