Dymista Nasal Spray contains a combination of azelastine hydrochloride and fluticasone propionate. These work together to help relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing, congestion, and itchy or watery eyes. The azelastine hydrochloride helps to reduce inflammation in the nose, while the fluticasone propionate helps to reduce inflammation and swelling in the nasal passages. By reducing inflammation, Dymista Nasal Spray can help to relieve allergy symptoms.

Warnings

  • You should avoid touching the tip of the bottle to your nose, as this can contaminate the medication.
  • You should also avoid blowing your nose for 15 minutes after using the nasal spray.
  • Do not use more than four sprays in 24 hours.
  • Inform your doctor of any allergic reactions you experience.
  • Do not use this medication if you have perforated nostrils without your doctor’s approval
  • Dymista Nasal Spray should not be used for more than 10 days consecutively.
  • Avoid getting Dymista Nasal Spray in the eyes. If this happens, rinse the eyes with water and contact a healthcare professional if symptoms.

Directions

  • Dymista Nasal Spray should be used as directed by your doctor.
  • Dymista Nasal Spray should be used by spraying it into the nose.
  • It is important to shake the bottle well before use.
  • The recommended dose is two sprays in each nostril, once a day.
  • Blow your nose gently to clear it of any mucus.
  • Close one nostril with your finger and tilt your head forward.
  • Spray the medicine into your other nostril.
  • Breathe in through your nose and hold your breath for a few seconds.
  • Spit out any medicine remaining in your mouth.
  • It is best to use Dymista Nasal Spray at the same time each day.
  • If symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks of treatment, or if they worsen, consult a healthcare professional.
