How Does Condyline 0.5 Solution Work?

Podophyllotoxin is a transparent topical solution contained in Condylox. When podophyllotoxin is applied to warts, it enters the nuclei of the infected cells. It inhibits cell division and multiplication, causing warts to shrink. When wart cells that are now dead are replaced by healthy skin cells, the afflicted region gets better.

Warnings

  • Condyline cream is for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, or mouth. If contact occurs, flush the area thoroughly with water.
  • Do not use Condyline Cream if you are allergic to metronidazole or any of the other ingredients in the gel.
  • Before using Condyline cream inform your healthcare provider of any underlying medical conditions you have.
  • Inform your doctor of your pregnancy and breastfeeding status.
  • If irritation or sensitization develops, discontinue use and contact your healthcare provider.

Directions

  • It is best to apply Condyline 0.5% Solution to the affected area using a cotton swab and rub it in gently until it is fully absorbed.
