Avoid using on the face or underarms unless directed by the prescriber. The treatment also comes as an ointment or lotion.

Hydrocortisone Cream is a topical corticosteroid. It alters the function of several cells and chemicals in the skin. It contains Hydrocortisone 1%. The substance reduces the production of the substances that cause inflammation relieving skin and scalp conditions.

  • An allergic reaction to any of its ingredients.
  • Untreated bacterial infections.
  • Scabies mites.
  • Rosacea or dermatitis around the mouth area.
  • Psoriasis.

Directions for Use

  • Wash and dry your hands before using the cream. Clean and dry the affected area.
  • Apply a small amount of medication to the affected area and gently rub in.
  • Do not bandage, cover, or wrap the crusty area unless directed to do so by your doctor.
  • After applying the medication, wash your hands unless the hands are being treated.
