Weight gain occurs when fat in food is reabsorbed back to the body. Orlistat works by blocking the enzymes in your gut that digest fat. The fat is passed out of the body as stool. By blocking nearly a third of the fat, you eat, absorbed body fat is reduced and does not add to your weight.
Excess weight can increase the chances of health issues such as cholesterol, diabetes, and heart attacks. Orlistat helps to reduce obesity. For best results, take the Orlistat alongside a low-fat diet and exercise.
Take the tablets 3 times daily for 7 days 1 hour after a meal.
If you skip a meal or eat a low-fat meal, there will be no fat to absorb. You, therefore, do not need to swallow Orlistat capsules.
