Uniroid HC Ointment is a dual-action treatment for Hemorrhoids. It helps relieve pain, discomfort, itching and reduces the size of the piles. Uniroid-HC Ointment is suitable for treating external hemorrhoids around the anal area through direct application. When the hemorrhoid is internal, the patient should use the plastic nozzle available in every tube to insert the drug into the rectum comfortably. Uniroid HC ointment is a prescription-only drug manufactured by Chemidex Pharma. It is packed in a 30g tube with an attachable plastic nozzle and a patient information leaflet to guide the patient.

How Does Uniroid HC Ointment Work?

Uniroid- Hc Ointment contains two active ingredients; Cinchocaine Hydrochloride and Hydrocortisone. Cinchocaine is a local anesthetic that blocks pain messages along the nerves. It causes a numbing sensation in the area where the ointment is applied. Hydrocortisone is a corticosteroid that relieves pain and inflammation. Inflammation occurs from an immune response that causes blood vessels to dilate. The result is that the affected area becomes red, itchy, and swollen. Uniroid HC Ointment reduces painful inflammation and lumps.

Directions

Directions for Using Uniroid HC Ointment

Only apply Uniroid- Hc to your back passage and the surrounding painful areas. Apply this medicine in the morning, evening, and after each bowel movement.
  • Wash your hands before and after use.
  • Squeeze a small amount of the ointment onto your fingertip.
  • Gently rub a small layer of cream over the sore, painful, or itching area.
  • If you feel the effect of your medicine is too weak or too strong, do not change the dose yourself. Seek further advice from a healthcare professional.
