Profhilo is a revolutionary injectable hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment. The injectable gel has a prolonged stimulating activity on skin cells. When injected into the skin, Profhilo stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore the firmness of the skin.

Profhilo rescues sagging skin, remodels the signs of aging and boosts and hydrates the skin. The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck. It can also be used for the décolletage (low neckline), hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity. How does PROFHILO work?

When injected into the target area, the highly concentrated hyaluronic acid contained in Profhilo attracts water to the deeper layers of the skin which stimulates collagen and elastin, giving the skin a firmer, more rejuvenated look.

Due to the gel-like formulation of Profhilo, the highly concentrated hyaluronic acid is released over time having a prolonged effect. This long-term stimulation causes a significant tightening and lifting effect on the tissue.

You will have a personalised consultation with your Cosmetic Pharmacist who will prioritise your areas of concern and set individualised targets based on your goals.

Receiving Profhilo:

Profhilo treatment consists of 5 specific injections on each side of the face (in front of the ear, the front and side of the cheek, the angle of the jaw and below the lower lip). That’s 10 injections in total.

It is injected beneath the skin where it absorbs into the tissues and works to help rebuild a strong collagen network in the skin. This restoration of the natural fibres of the skin sees an increase in levels of collagen and elastin, for a remodelled complexion that is fuller and has more bounce. The injections are superficial and minimally invasive taking approximately 15 minutes to complete the consultation and procedure.

After treatment:

Immediately after: No recovery time is needed and you can return to your normal activities. You may however want to avoid any application of any cosmetics on the face and avoid excess heat.

1-2 Weeks after: You will begin to notice the improvement in skin clarity and a radiant glow, however, it takes 6-8 weeks to fully develop.

6-8 Weeks: You will begin to notice radiant glow of the skin, with a more firm look adding to your youthful aesthetic.
